Pitch It Like a Pro
Thursday, November 17, 2011
Are you struggling trying to figure out the best way to pitch and structure your business ideas? Are you having trouble pitching yourself or winning others over? You will learn when it is the perfect opportunity to pitch your idea to the right people and the best method to assemble your ideas. Speakers will discuss their transition from school to business and teach you what to incorporate in a pitch. Regardless of the motive: school project, obtain funding, selling yourself in interviews or getting your point across. Learning how to pitch an idea and the importance of timing will be critical skills to have as you develop your own business ideas and embark on your career.
Our young and inspiring speakers include Daniel Patricio and Saif Altimimi. Daniel Patricio is a digital strategist and a small business marketer. He has a lot of experience selling himself and his business motives. Saif Altimimi is an entrepreneur working on an education platform. He pitched his idea at Dragon’s Den and convinced all 5 venture capitalists to invest in his business. Come learn to Pitch It Like A Pro.
Challenge – We will be holding a small challenge where you will incorporate what you learned from the speakers and pitch an idea based on a picture. The person that has the best business pitch will win an engraved business card holder. If you are interested in participating, please e-mail timothy.gaweco@nspire.org and he will send you a picture before the event.
